The Hustler's Digest StaffA human being is versatile and sculpted to perform various things simultaneously. And if for some reason, we let that slip off our minds, Frederick A. Morton, Jr. is a perfect reminder. He is a man of knowledge, passion, and many talents.
His upbringing took place on the beautiful island of St. Croix. Born to Nevisian parents who were entrepreneurs and running a small business, Frederick grew up watching his parents plowing away and grinding all day to provide for the family. This period eclipsed the rest of his life as it infused in him the work ethic, business acumen, and general life principles he is known for today. One can see that the foundation was laid strongly.
After high school, Frederick moved to the United States to pursue higher education. He studied at Rutgers University where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts and Juris Doctorate in Law. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
And then everything started to unfold. The experience, education, and exposure – all coalesced into elevating Frederick wherever he went. Consider, for example, his legal profession, where he rocked. After completing higher studies, he started working with one of the internationally renowned New York law firms, Simpson Thacher and Bartlett, as an attorney. There, he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Frederick’s long march in the legal profession didn’t end there. This proud Caribbean then landed on Johnson & Johnson as a senior corporate counsel. His next one was Viacom Inc., where he ascended to Chief Litigation Officer after performing extraordinarily. Having a mentor like legal legend Johnnie Cochran, Frederick excelled at nearly all the legal battles he was engaged in.
However, Frederick hasn’t flexed his muscles in the legal profession only. He has another, softer, entertaining side too. And on that side, Frederick is an excellent writer. He hasn’t only written legal documents all his life; writing scripts and songs for different artists has been one of his deep-seated talents. Not to mention, he can surprise you with his modeling skills.

After sensing his talent in writing songs and modeling, one can only imagine where he could have ended up if Frederick hadn’t picked the legal profession. But as everything happens for a reason, we’re happy that he entered into the legal field as it eventually gifted us, the lovers of the Caribbean, an ultimate treat in the shape of TEMPO Networks.
It’s a jewel in his crown—a tribute to his motherland. TEMPO Networks is a dream come true for Frederick. He always wanted there to be a network that could unify the Caribbean region and capture the essence of its culture. This dream came to fruition when Frederick joined MTV after Viacom Inc. Currently, he’s leading the network from the front and bagging success after success presenting the region’s beauty to the world.
