David Imonitie’s Formula for Success: How an Entrepreneur’s Brain Works

As an entrepreneur, you will be faced with multiple circumstances that cause a high amount of stress, however, it is important to maintain a single vision focus, to ensure each task is completed efficiently. You must relieve your mind of all the extra burden it has, for it to function properly, and assist you at it’s fullest potential all the way throughout your journey to success. This is the first tip by David Imonitie Jr., a serial entrepreneur and multi-millionaire, to the future leaders out there. You need to have less load on your mind to focus on things that really require your attention now.

It is also important to set goals to focus on. As an entrepreneur, we often sacrifice a lot now, to live in abundance for the rest of our lives. A vision board is a great resource to always refer your goals to and keep you motivated. And ultimately, you have to ask yourself if you want to be ordinary, or do you want to leave a legacy behind you that has an impact on millions out there?

Whatever you choose to do, you must have an ardent thirst for that in your heart. This desire will be your driving force throughout this journey of yours. Nowadays, we see most of the young entrepreneurs drawing themselves back out of their businesses as mid-way through, they realize they did not want to do that venture right from the beginning. Perhaps they went into that business as they saw a lot of money in the industry, but that doesn’t always give you fulfillment. You need to settle this first in the early stages of your career. Here you should note that there is a difference between temporary desires and permanent passion. There will be some things that you will be motivated to achieve only for a certain period of time, but after a few years, you will realize that you were not made for that in the long run. On the other hand, your passion is something you’ll be happy to do for the rest of your life, without getting tired or bored of it. This desire to excel in your passion is what is needed to reach the point where David is today. Alongside being a motivational speaker and coach to thousands, he also has a strong investment portfolio as well as his own charity, iBelieve Foundation.

Once you have a desire to achieve something, you start developing the skills that are required to become successful in that field. “The more high-income skills you are specialized in, the more you earn,” says David. Moreover, you also need to add a bit of diversity in your skillset and portfolio, to be able to transition into different business ventures at ease. The average millionaire has 7 income streams according to a study conducted by the IRS, so it may be a good idea to diversify accordingly, once you’ve mastered one industry at a time.

Once you have this great combination of desire and skill, you need to multiply it by faith. “Faith is the belief you need to have in yourself, your efforts, your team but most importantly in God”, says David. You have to have faith that it is all going to work out someday, as long as you put in the work. Stay determined and stay at peace during this time because your efforts are not going to be fruitful overnight. You need to give them time to mature and do their work. If success was easy, everyone would be a millionaire.

Once you are done with all of this, you will start to see things moving towards betterment, provided you have done all the steps right, with full honesty to yourself. It will just be a matter of time before you see yourself gradually rising to the top based on your efforts and dedication. All the success stories you see around yourself are not made overnight. People struggle for years to make an inch of improvement. However, with that being said, you can still make quantum leaps in your success with the right game plan. Manifestation, hard work and of course enjoying yourself along the way, is all part of the journey.
