Jim Becker, a high-spirited entrepreneur and CEO of Becker Logistics, underwent a similar ordeal before he tapped into his creative genius and undertook the challenge of building his business empire.
Starting a company at the age of 27 was not a facile task. Jim had to learn the ropes on his own with little to no room for mistakes. At one point in his life, he was living in fear of letting down his family, his employees, and himself. However, this fear was soon replaced by an overpowering sense of confidence and trust in his ability to succeed.
On May 16th, 2022, Becker Logistics celebrated 25 years of exemplary service. It was Jim Becker’s unflinching determination and firmness of purpose that has allowed this company to reach new heights of success. Currently, Becker Logistics is on its way to acquiring a third company, with this acquisition, Becker Logistics’ revenue will surpass $200 million in a year.
However, to Jim, this company is about more than just numbers. He wishes to change the mindset of those currently struggling to remain optimistic in the face of adversity. As a natural-born leader, he aims to impart wisdom to his fellow entrepreneurs. Jim believes that with grace and mercy, all things are possible. Hence, he is on a mission to help people acquire a mindset that allows them and their company to grow.
Being a philanthropist at heart, CEO Jim appointed Jessica Olenick, to lead a project to help the community where Becker Logistics Corporate office is based. Our social promise is to give back to the community in which we serve. We have called this promise, “Humanity for the Homeless”. The aim is to give $1 made from all shipments to the homeless to help them get back on their feet. On average, the company moves 500 loads; hence, each day, Becker Logistics donates an estimated $500 to the cause in an effort to eradicate homelessness.
In the year 2023, Jim is working with his team to shore up its current growth structure as well as adding additional structure to support the future growth of the company. At the same time keeping it stable with the economic waves that are sure to come.
